Wisdom's Way

Meeting Times
Wisdom’s Way meets on Monday afternoons from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Faith Church in Milford, Ohio. We offer two 1-hour class periods for each age group. Our fall semester begins in September and runs through December. The spring semester begins in January and runs through April. Each semester is 12 weeks long.
Class Offerings
We offer classes based on the interest of participating families and the willingness of teachers to share and impart their knowledge to our children. It is our goal to have developmental and engaging classes from newborn through high school so that home educated children of all ages can find meaningful participation. Some classes offered fulfill state curriculum requirements and therefore assist parents in meeting some of those requirements. Please note that families must have a child in the first grade or older in order to join Wisdom's Way.
Age Groupings
These may vary by semester based on classes being offered but they are typically something like:
- Nursery
- Preschool
- Kindergarten
- First to Fourth grades
- Fifth to Eighth grades
- Ninth to Twelfth grades
Class Tuition
In order to keep the financial cost of Wisdom’s Way to a minimum, we operate as a true cooperative. Participating families share in the classroom teaching and the volunteer roles of the co-op. The semester fee per child is $40.00, to a maximum of $120.00. Teachers receive a discount of one child free (two if they teach both hours). Children two and under are free.
Parent Responsibilities
At Wisdom's Way, we share the responsibilities of running our co-op. Parents who are not teaching will be assigned as a class helper both hours. Parents are also expected to help with cleaning each semester.
